At the beginning September, I visited the gorgeous city of Barcelona for a long weekend away. The impression I got from the whole experience was that it has everything you could ever need! We stayed in the SB Diagonal Zero hotel, just a few miles from the centre of the city but still very accessible through the metre. The hotel alone was an amazing experience with a spa day and access to the private 15th floor lounge on our second to last day. The city itself is beyond beautiful with Sagrada Familia being the highlight of my trip as well as the constant bustle around the the main Las Ramblas strip and infinite places to eat from small tapas restaurants to quiet rooftop spots for lunch, such as La Isabela at the top of Hotel 1898 which was perfect for food with a view. We dined at the W hotel restaurant on the beach as well as enjoyed a few drinks in the W Lounge after the meal and spent our final day drinking cocktails on the beach in the sun. I loved Barcelona so much, I am excited to be returning next April as I feel the city has something for everyone to enjoy!
